About
The General Contractors Association of Pennsylvania (GCAP) was founded in the early 1960’s as a united group of union contractors who wanted to have a positive impact in Pennsylvania. GCAP’s mission then, as it remains today, is to provide a single, powerful voice for union construction from the union contractors point of view.
GCAP continues to reach out to PA legislators, state officials, other advocacy groups, and the universe of union construction to formulate practical solutions to the issues facing our industry.
GCAP:
- Is a single voice for union construction companies in Pennsylvania.
- Develops positions on legislation and regulations affecting union construction.
- Informs and advises its members on state legislative activities and the activities of administrative agencies.
- Carries out the legislative priorities of GCAP members.
- Coordinate the activities of the members related to legislative and governmental relations activities.
